Venture Track
Accelerator Program for Research-Based Innovation
We don’t just offer a program – we offer a way forward.
Venture Track is Linnaeus University’s accelerator program designed to help you take the next step in commercializing your research – from idea to real-world impact. The program is part of a national initiative to strengthen innovation capacity at Swedish universities – and is exclusively open to researchers and employees at Linnaeus University.
With support from a dedicated team, access to funding, and a strong network, you will have the opportunity to develop your research-based business case, move forward with commercialization, and create solutions that make a real difference in society.
The program is organized by Linnaeus Venture AB and LNU Innovation. Linnaeus Venture is a subsidiary of the university’s holding company, focusing on commercializing ideas through company formation or licensing agreements. LNU Innovation is the university’s innovation office, supporting the early phases of the innovation journey. Together, we form the university’s innovation support system. Throughout the program, you will receive support from both organizations working in close collaboration. Our teams cooperate closely and will jointly participate in interviews and the evaluation of applications. The final decision on which projects are admitted is made by Linnaeus Venture.
What’s included in the program?
Funding: Up to SEK 250,000 in initial investment, with the possibility of an additional SEK 300,000 in innovation support to further develop your business case and lay the foundation for a future startup.
