We invest in the most promising business ideas and research results from all fields of science at Linnaeus University. Currently, the following companies are part of the portfolio:
HPViCo AB
HPViCo develops, manufactures, and sells functional coatings suitable for various forms and applications, including security glass, bottles, lenses, and smartphones. By offering multifunctional coatings in a single process step, HPViCo also works with a long-term vision to contribute to the sustainability transition.
AvBIT has developed a unique digital platform that allows people in various professional fields, such as police officers, social workers, and teachers, to practice interrogations and difficult conversations with children using an avatar solution.
Core-Oli-T is a research-based company with roots at Linnaeus University. Their groundbreaking scientific discoveries have the potential to enable early precision diagnostics for Parkinson’s disease and, in the long run, offer an effective treatment method to halt disease progression. This is based on the company’s breakthrough in unique antibody technology.
Re:Mine AB is a research-based spinout from Linnaeus University that has developed a process to recover magnesium – a raw material of high strategic value – from mining and industrial waste. The process simultaneously generates a by-product that can be used for environmentally friendly cement, creating a fully circular system without solid waste.
Hidden in Art AB develops a novel method for determining the origin of artworks through DNA analysis. By applying forensic techniques to art, the company enables more reliable authentication and traceability. The technology addresses a major challenge in the global art market and has strong international potential.

Invest in Leading Research and Innovative Ideas
In every investment we make, Linnaeus University‘s brand accompanies it as a stamp of quality. We validate and review knowledge, technology, and business potential, and help the company become prepared for the next funding round. We invest in very early stages and intend to sell our holdings once the company in the portfolio has made significant strides in its commercialization journey, either by listing on a public marketplace (so-called initial offering, IPO), or when investors and industrial companies are attracted and wish to acquire the business. We are happy to collaborate with investors who, like us, are interested in innovative solutions with high innovation and growth potential.
